I think the temperature was over 90 with high humidity. Many of us came into the house to seek some shelter from the heat. Josh, our student member brought a couple friends from his photography classes and we had a couple visitors from the FEO group here in Dayton.
Of course you would know that we picked the hottest day of the summer to have picnic outside, but despite the heat some brought out their cameras and took some portraits after enjoying many deserts, pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs.

As soon as everyone left there was a strong cool wind for about a half an hour before the light show (lightning and thunder store) that knocked out electricity for over 25,000 homes in the Kettering area with many trees down throughout the community.
