PPSO Camera Camp
Hocking Hills
June 21, 22, & 23, 2004
Try something new, different,
and exciting!
If you've ever longed to spend a couple of days taking pictures,
not worrying about whether your family complains about stopping, or the
paid speaker will show you how to do that one technique one more time -
then Camera Camp 2004 is for you!
The Professional Photographers of Southwestern Ohio are hosting
three days of photography in June in the beautiful hills of south central
Ohio. Join old and new friends from Monday, June 21 to Wednesday afternoon,
June 23 to immerse yourself in hands-on, digital photography in a picturesque
and fascinating setting. We're the instructors. We're the resource people.
By spending time with other professionals, you'll have the opportunity
to share your photo techniques, and learn more about your camera, digital
photography, Photoshop, and LCD presentation programs. Come prepared to
participate in a relaxed and fun learning environment! Teamwork is the key.
Experimenting with many different photographers and seeing the results,
immediately, will definitely help you grow - photographically, of course!
Enjoy the vistas of Hocking Hills - its caves, streams, forest,
lakes, and people. This area practically gives merit prints away. Pick up
your merit print this summer!
We'll meet for breakfast on Monday morning, June 21, 7:30 am,
at Bob Evans, Smithville & Linden, and caravan to camp. We will be staying
at the Holiday Inn Express, Logan, Ohio ($45 per person by sharing a room)
and renting Eric Hoffman's, Old Bear's Den Workshop, as our gathering spot
to exchange ideas, prepare a couple of meals, and present our visual yarns.
Hoffman will be a terrific local resource to guide us to the best "KodaK"
spots, reveal local secrets, and save us time.
We're keeping expenses to a minimum. Our best guess is that no
one will spend more than $250 each for everything. Most campers will spend
less. Food, gas, motel (2 to a room), refreshments, meeting room rental,
and supplies are included in that estimate. We will share or buy our own
food.
