PPSO Annual Christmas
Party
Be sure you don't miss the famous PPSO
Christmas Party!!
This year, the Annual Christmas Party
will move from a members home to Chantrell's. We will be enjoying a Stuffed
Turkey Dinner with all the trimmin's for $20 per person.
Please R.S.V.P. to 885-4681 by December
1st, so we can make certain Chantrell's prepares plenty of food.
Festivities will begin at 6:30
p.m. with a cash bar.
Dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m.
By popular demand, we will again have the
famous Chinese Gift Exchange following dinner. If you have not shared in this
activity, you are in for a really fun experience! To participate, everyone
brings a small gift in the $10-$15 range. This can be a "gag"
type gift or something actually useful. Wrap it so no one can tell what
it is. The exchange begins with everyone pulling a number from a hat. The
person with #1 selects a gift from the pile and opens it so everyone can
see what it is. Then the person with #2 can elect to open another gift from
the pile, OR take the gift from #1 - who would then select and open another
gift from the pile; #3 now decides whether to take a gift from #1 or #2
or open one from the pile; and so on.... and on.......and on until all the
gifts are opened. There is usually at least one more pass through the numbers
as everyone selects and takes gifts from others. (You have to be there to
appreciate the hilarity which occurs!! Ask Chuck Shade about his "chicken".)
Following the Chinese Gift Exchange will be the drawing for the Fabulous Door Prizes. There are Gift Certificates, Printing Credits and additional surprises
from our sponsors and others.
We are all looking forward to a really enjoyable evening of fun, food and
fellowship. See you on Monday evening, December 5th.
