The Little Miami River Partnership is sponsoring a competition to build awareness of the Little Miami Watershed (not just the river itself). There are professional and amateur categories, and the top prize is $500, with a number of second prizes worth $100 each.

The competition ends on 10/31, and the prints will be judged the following weekend. Professional photographers judging the competition include Jim Chagares, Greg Wurtzler, and Eric Hatch. Two non-professional photographers will round out the judging panel.

Categories include scenic (no hand of man), recreational (hand of man visible) and problems caused by man. There is a separate category for black-and-white images.

Entries must be 8x10 or larger and mounted on foam core or board. Adults pay a submission fee of $10 per image; Youth entrants are free.
