Gregg has been at the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology as a Department Chairmen for over twenty years. Gregg had also been freelancing in portrait and commercial photography for just as long. In 1999 he married his beautiful wife Kathie and they started Wurtzler Photography. Starting their business while working two full time jobs has really been a challenge. Most of their business revolves around many different aspects of commercial and portrait photography including seniors, families and shooting approximately 25-30 weddings a year. Gregg and Kathie are both members of PP of Ohio and Gregg has served on the PPO board for the past three years. His work has gained him five Court of Honors in Commercial, as well as winning the George Edmundson trophy for outstanding Commercial entry in 1984,1991, and 1997. Gregg has been in the Top Ten Photographers in Ohio twice in the past seven years as well as receiving the Fuji Masterpiece award three times. At national level he presently has seven images in the Loan Collection as well as had images displayed at Epcot.

Photoshop Workflow

Gregg's presentation is designed for the portrait photographer who wants to gain a more realistic approach to using photoshop in their studio. Working in digital can be very confusing with so many choices of equipment and software. Photoshop workflow can also be confusing, frustrating, time consuming and often times damaging to image quality. Gregg will help to relieve some of the anxieties and frustrations of working in this new and demanding environment. Profiling, color spaces, retouching and output will be some of the areas covered.

President's Message

Hello Everybody,
The January meeting was one of the best attended meetings that PPSO has had in a long time. The Presidents gavel was presented to me, the plaques & trophies were handed out, (I still have several) & the seminar was fantastic. What more could you ask for? Our speakers for this year are all really first class people. Their seminars will all be beneficial to you. Try not to miss any. I guarantee it will be worth your time. That's all for now & I hope I see all of you at the next PPSO meeting on February 3rd.
