Chuck Shade

Hi All,

Where has January gone? February is nearly upon us and the days are slowly getting longer. While I have enjoyed shooting the snow and icy winter scenes, I'm very much looking forward to some spring weather!

It is only one month until the PPO convention in Dayton and this will be a very busy time for PPSO. We will need about eighteen people to take turns manning the pre-registration desk on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please volunteer to Peggy, Christina or myself. Additionally we will need several people to help transport speakers to and from the Dayton Airport. Again, Please don't miss the chance to rub elbows with some of the best photography speakers in country.

If you do not yet have your competition prints ready, It's Time to hustle. They must be turned on Wednesday, February 27 before 4:00 PM. Weather or not you compete; the MES print exhibit is a great source for ideas and study for next year. Incidently, If you are not yet a member of PPO, you are certainly missing out on one of the best bargains in photography!

Our program for February will be given by Jennifer Francis of Essenza studios. She will be talking about senior photography and the preparation /marketing for the upcoming senior season.

Lastly, don't forget that we have NO meeting in March due to the dates of, and our involvement in the PPO convention.

All the Best, and see you at the Feb.4 meeting,

Chuck
