If you don't photograph Children in your studio because of the
big department store in your town offer's a free 8x10 with a sitting or
an entire portrait package for "Only $9.95" then this program
is for you. Marti is probably the most widely recognized image-maker in
her area due to her self-promotion practices. Living in the small town of
Logan, Ohio, she successfully markets and wins the battle with the world
of big department stores.
Marti will help you learn to be different, use your creativity and some
advice on how to handle those difficult sessions. The result will be that
your customers will not want to go back to anyone else to have their children's
portrait taken, and other areas of business will expand due to the repeat
business and referrals.
In only 5 years, Marti received her Masters Degree from PPA. Last year,
she won her first Kodak Gallery Award. This image was one of 125 chosen
out of over 12,000 images selected to hang at Epcot in Orlando FL. She has
won several local and state awards along with Loan collection Prints.
She is a Past President of her local affiliate, the Professional Photographers
of Central Ohio and serves as Commissioner on the Board of the Ohio Certified
Professional Photographers, and has recently been elected as a Trustee on
the PPO Board.
Marti will share with you how to compete with the larger chain stores
in the children's photography market. In her program, she will also discuss
how she came about becoming a photographer and why she likes to photograph
children and will share some of her secrets that are very useful in the
camera room! The "what to do" and the "what not to do"
when photographing children at least what works for her!
