March 2003

 Our March Speaker: Ray Hosier

Ray started his career in photography in 1975 at Texler Photography in Solon, Ohio. This year he will receive his craftsman's degree from P.P.A. He is a certified photographer at both state(Ohio) and national levels. Ray is a past chairman of the Ohio C.P.P. and past president of S.O.N.O.P.P. He is also a member of the Ohio Society of Professional Photographers.

Texler Photography is a small family run portrait studio that does just about everything in portraits and some commercial work. Last year Ray photographed over 500 high school seniors (both contract and non-contract), 600 confirmation students and a few weddings.

Ray's program will be on high school seniors. With his experience, this is sure to be an outstanding program. Plan to spend the evening with us.

President's Message

Lets all welcome 2003 !!!!!!!!!!!
The Holidays are now a thing of the past & its time to plan for the new business year. Was everybody pleased at Gregg Wurtzlers presentation or what? If you were in attendance you would know what I mean. March will be as equally exciting. Ray Hoiser will show us all the ins & outs of senior photography. Making MONEY ---- That's what it's all about.
All of the board members are hard at work making new brochures & other goodies to make all of our lives easier.
I have opened my new studio in Beavercreek. (About time --- it only took me 3 1/2 years) I'm not there all the time so, anyone that wants to take a short tour, just give me a ring or e-mail. Also, I have many child wicker items. If anyone wants to borrow one for a day or two let me know. I'm leaving you this month with this short note, written by Kalman Mikszath...........

"Without imagination, there are no great people, nor are there great things".

May all your dreams come true & God Bless,
James
