Lori Overmyer
"Small Town Weddings with
Big City Style"
Lori Overmyer, CPP, is a 1987 graduate
of the Ohio Institute of Photography in Dayton and established her studio
in her home town of Fremont in 1995. Initially a Commercial Photographer,
she now specializes in distinctive and spirited portraits of children, fanilies,
high school seniors and journalistic style weddings. Lori received international
recognition when she was published in "Professional Photographer"
magazine, and has been rewarded with three prestigious Kodak Gallery
Awards and two Loan Collection Prints all in the wedding category. Along
with several Court of Honor Awards and Ohio Fall Convention Trophies, Lori
has also been named one of the Top Ten Photographers in Ohio.
A fresh interpretive style sets Lori apart
with unique and creative images that capture those commonly unnoticed details
and genuine moments with emphasis on composition, design and impact. She
attributes her professional growth to her passionate interest in photography
as an art, and her love of people.
Lori is Past President of the Professional
Photogrgaphers of Northwest Ohio and has been an annual business volunteer
for the Chamber of Commerce Students In Business Day and has served as past
and present Co-Chair for Fremont's North Coast Business Expo. She continues
to attend monthly seminars, available workshops and annual conventions to
keep up with the wonderfully changing world of photography, is currently
working toward her Craftsman degree and is only the PPA Certification Test
away from receiving her Masters Degree this February.
A native of Fremont, Lori lives there with
her children; Jenna, age 10 and Jacob, age 6. Exposures Unlimited Photography
