NICK COURY
DIGITAL CALIBRATIONS
FOUNDATIONS FOR PROPER DIGITAL
EXPOSURE
Nick's program is based on 10 years
experience working for color labs. In this capacity he has seen lots of
studio's inner workings and as a result he knows some things that work
and some that just don't work.
Nick's digital program will provide
information about
-Custom white balance
-Flash meter calibration
-Monitor calibration
-Face mask histograms for proper
exposure
-Working with sRGB workspace
Nick is employed at Buckeye Color
Lab in North Canton, Ohio. As a leading professional lab in the country
they are dedicated to the education of today's professional photographer.
Buckeye hosts a one-day Digital Basics Class every other Thursday at the
lab, which Nick teaches.
Nick also assists in schools throughout
the country, including Will Crockett's four day advanced digital school,
One of the largest schools in the nation in Texas, and in August he will
be assisting at an East Coast School inNorth Carolina.
Nick is a member of the Fuji Studiomaster
PRO Elite Team, in which there are only 15 members in the nation.
